Sources close to the band have revealed to DUTK.com.au, SFU will make their 2nd concert tour of Australia in 2009, performing in concert halls with their unique and ground breaking sound.

The band were last here in 2001 when they won the Australian Pipe Band Championships and performed to packed audiences at the Sydney Opera House and other leading Aussie venues.

Since then the band has won multiple World Championships, their latest in 2008, when they claimed the title ahead of former Champions Field Marshall Montgomery and House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band.
