2009 was another great year for McFarland Scottish and Celtic Supplies, the owners of www.downunderthekilt.com servicing new and existing clients, sponsoring a number of key events and continuing to contribute to the Scottish culture.

The family owned and run business maintained it's presence in the marketplace through key products such as Dougies Sydney dance pumps, the Kilt Hire service they provide to hundreds of clients and it's involvement in one of the most important shows put to stage - Down Under the Kilt; Reel Men Do Dance, both as costume sponsors and retailing the tickets to the show and the DVD.

Personally for John McFarland it was a big year, celebrating his 70th Birthday and the birth of his first grandchild, Aila Caroline Collins.

2010 looks to be another strong year for the business and family and we are looking forward to being of service to you, whatever Scottish needs you require.
