Saturday 5th May 2007

At 11:30 me, Kylie and Dougie went off to Wagga Wagga. We went by car so the trip took ages and ages and ages. The whole way there Dougie and Kylie drank Diet Coke. We stopped at many a petrol station and at the Dog on the Tucker box. I counted kangaroos on the way, I counted 10. After many hours of Diet Coke, singing and Dougie's chanter we arrived at the club motel. We were assigned to room number 6. For dinner we walked to La Porchetta's in the city. My pizza was so spicy they had to bring out cucumber to cool my mouth down. My mission whilst walking home was to turn my feet out. We got back to the motel room and went to sleep.

Sunday 6th May 2007

We woke up at 8:30 and watched TV. Me and Kylie went to get breakfast. We had to be out of the room by 10 but we were a little bit late, I don't think anyone noticed. Finally the comp. I got 3 seconds - the Fling trophy dance, Seann Triubhas (got $5) and the Jig (got $5). I felt really good because it was my first comp not dancing restricted. And of course Dougie came first in the dances he did. On the way out we were the absolute last to leave, even all the organisers were gone. On the way home we stopped at this petrol station and the guy at the counter talked to us for ages. I felt special because I got a "well done" from a stranger. Thanks Kylie and Dougie for a great road trip, I had the best time.
